James Trezona has joined content and storytelling agency Rooster Punk, taking on the role of managing director.
As MD Trezona will take responsibility for driving the agency’s growth in partnership with clients looking for new ways to engage customers and employees and he brings with him more than 15 years’ worth of experience working with technology and communications companies.
Paul Cash, chief rooster, Rooster Punk, said of the appointment: “I worked with James over a decade ago and since then he’s gone from strength to strength. His leadership of the tech agency Mason Zimbler impressed me immensely. I was delighted he wanted to join our mini revolution in the tech marketing sector as managing director of Rooster Punk.”
Trezona added: “Marketing needs a shake-up – I’ve enjoyed my career hugely, but with Rooster Punk I see the potential to redefine marketing’s role in corporations – and in our society. It’s a bigger purpose and one whose time has come. The concept of purposeful humanising of technology has reached a tipping point that we are at the vanguard of. We quite literally want to change the world for the better.”
Trezona’s appointment sees him bring strategic planning experience from his days working with the likes of HP and Sony at Tidalwave. He has also served in director roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and Mason Zimbler.
