David&Goliath promotes Seema Miller to managing partner, chief strategy officer

Seema Miller, who previously served as executive director, head of planning at David&Goliath (D&G), has been promoted to managing partner, chief strategy officer at the agency.

In her new role, she will be responsible for leading strategic insights across the agency’s roster of clients and new business endeavors. She will report directly to David Angelo, founder and chairman of D&G.

Miller joined the agency in 2013, and she has since then worked closely with the creative department to put strategy at the forefront and implement a planning approach. Her key areas of focus include Kia Motors, driving new business, and building new clients such as Coca-Cola’s ZICO Coconut Water and fast-food chain Jack in the Box.

“What originally drew me to David&Goliath was its reputation as a phenomenal creative shop with great minds,” said Miller, adding that what excited her most was their commitment to strategy.

Previously, she was part of JC Penney’s brand transformation team where she served as head of strategic insights. She has also worked at agencies including Wieden+Kennedy and Leo Burnett.

This news marks another addition to the executive leadership team at D&G. Last July, Colin Jeffery was promoted to chief creative officer and Brian Dunbar was appointed as president.
