New Drum Network agency consultancy service launched to increase agency profits

The Drum Network, the part of The Drum that helps independent agencies become more successful, has launched a new membership level specifically designed to help agency owners recognise the barriers stunting their growth and develop the strategies needed to increase profit levels and long term business value.

The new Elite+ membership level includes all the benefits of The Drum Network’s Elite level membership, but also includes an additional consultancy element, which will see Elite+ members working directly with a highly experienced agency advisor to unlock growth and improve performance, focusing on the key areas of strategy & positioning, operations, finance, people and clients

On joining, all Elite+ members will undergo an Agency Business Audit, conducted by Milestone Advisory, headed up by Miles Welch, who has been appointed to supply all of The Drum Network’s consultancy and advisory services to Elite+ members.

Milestone Advisory has worked with over 60 agency businesses in the last three years, including names such as Reading Room, Head London, Forward 3D and other leading businesses and can now bring his vast experience, market and competitor insights to member agencies.

Founder Miles Welch has more than 20 years agency management experience, holding positions such as managing director of Digitas and chief operating officer of Harvest. He also worked in a non-exec advisory capacity with agencies during a three year spell spent as a director of Results International, an M&A business. He launched Milestone Advisory two years ago and now works in a consultancy role with agencies in the UK, Europe and USA.

The launch of Elite+ also sees The Drum Network launch a suite of bespoke advisory services and products, which both member and non-member agencies can access at a time relevant to their business to help them tackle some of the challenges that they face in growing their agency.

Along with the Agency Business Audit - included as part of the Elite+ membership package - the suite of advisory products also focus on helping agency owners to create a market winning strategy and positioning, strategic roadmap development, how to increase profit margins, how to unlock growth, new business and marketing best practice and how to prepare for exit.
