Gary Bramall has joined property brand Zoopla as chief marketing officer, replacing Gareth Helm who is departing the business.
Bramall most recently served as chief marketing officer at myTaxi, managing its rebrand from Hailo, and has held senior marketing roles at Microsoft, Skype, Apple and Orange.
He has joined Zoopla with a brief of overseeing its marketing strategy, differentiation and growth, following the £2.2bn acquisition in July by Silver Lake Partners, a US private equity firm.
It also houses brands including PrimeLocation and SmartNewHomes, software brands Alto, Jupix and ExpertAgent, comparison site USwitch and data businesses Hometrack and Calcasa.
Former Moneysupermarket CMO Helm had previously managed the Zoopla marketing after being appointed to the role, then new for the company, in 2015.
Helm oversaw a shake-up of its ad agencies in 2016, bringing in 101 and Brothers & Sisters to manage Zoopla and USwitch advertising respectively. Goodstuff Communications was also hired to handle the group's media accounts.
Speaking of his appointment, Bramall said he wanted to get people to reappraise the Zoopla brand and make it a "destination of choice".
