Fox Sports builds out ad sales team post-Disney deal

Fox Sports has named Dan Donnelly senior vice-president of ad sales marketing. He will oversee the network's sports marketing division.

Donnelly will report to Seth Winter, who was named executive vice president of sales at Fox Sports in January.

Fox Sports continues to build out its sales and marketing teams following the completion of the Disney-Fox merger. Fox Sports now falls under the umbrella of the new Fox Corporation, which includes the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Television Stations and Fox Business Network.

Marianne Gambelli now serves as the president of advertising sales for Fox.

Donnelly comes over from Publicis Media where he led the company's US sports and entertainment division.

Winter said: “Having worked with Dan for nearly two decades, I know first-hand that he brings an extraordinary level of expertise in working with significant brands across big platforms in both sports and entertainment. Dan’s reputation for innovation and his business acumen will bring tremendous value to all our partner clients.”

Fox Sports properties include FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes and a majority stake in the Big Ten Network.
