Featuring during Advertising Week New York this year will be marketing chiefs from major global brands such as Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Chipotle, Soul Cycle and Hulu.

The lineup includes Matthew McCarthy, chief executive (CEO) of Ben &Jerry’s, Melanie Whelan, CEO of Soul Cycle, and Ivan Pollard, senior vice president and global chief marketing officer of General Mills and Jill Baskin, chief marketing officer of Hershey’s and other figures from industry tech giants such as Twitter, Facebook, Google, Hulu, Adobe, and many others will also be represented.

With around 100,000 attendees predicted by the organizers for the annual advertising event taking place this September, over 1,000 advertising professional speakers are also set to feature over around 300 events throughout the four days.

Topics include launch strategy, data, DTCs, AI, client-agency relations, Omnichannel marketing, Impactful storytelling, understanding Gen-Z, and much more.

“Issues which begin with, but transcend our industry, are the heartbeat of Advertising Week as we leverage our platform to elevate the conversation around cancer care, climate change, diversity & gender equity with a dedicated focus on biases against moms in the workplace, gun safety, mental health and wellness, and the opioid crisis,” said Matt Sheckner, global chief executive of Advertising Week.

“On another path, we will put the agency business front and center, both the traditional holding companies who are re-tooling for the future, and the fast-rising new players, from the consultancies which have been gobbling up agencies at a fast clip, to new models under the leadership of long-time leaders like Sir Martin Sorrell and David Jones,” he added. “Most of all, it’s 100% new and we have to keep our finger on the pulse of the present as we pave the way forward to what’s next, well, it’s just endlessly exciting for us.”

Advertising Week New York 2019 will be held at the AW Campus, located in the AMC Lincoln Square, from September 23-26. Early bird tickets are available until 26 July.
