Time Out Group has named Sumindi Peiris as chief marketing officer as part of ongoing efforts to grow its global brand team.
Reporting directly to chief exec Julio Bruno, Peiris will be tasked with heading strategy and marketing activity across the group’s media and market divisions from its New York base.
Benefiting from over two decades of experience, Peiris arrives from Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and Canopy where she served as vice president of global brand marketing.
Peiris said: “Time Out is a brand that has inspired for over 50 years what people do in the world’s greatest cities and I am proud to join this incredibly talented and passionate team.”
The global media and leisure brand operates a suite of websites, magazines, social media and live events across 327 cities in 58 countries.
